Merry Safari
02:33
|
|
||
Here goes the bus tracking down every creature it can.
No tracks left aside no running rodant left away.
Every bush is turned down this jungle has no intricacies.
All its dwellers are members of this cabinet of curiosities.
How curious is the way those primates copulate !
Pity the poor thing swallowed by the snake.
Look at the vulnerable beast torn apart by any fangs !
There's no reason to protest against this selection of species.
There's nothing to do but sympathize with those destitute beings.
Merry are we, gazing through the windows and taking photos in a thunder of applause,
At this spectacle of life, exhilarating cruelty, pitiful destiny of the merry safari.

Prosperous People

I once knew a land circled by luxurious reefs
where big juicy fruits where at hand.
A prosperous people lived in material bliss
and goods profusion was for all.
No one ever witnessed people more satisfied in the world.
No fridges no sofas no computers got better owners.
They're so full of love, they take handful of old flesh
from their cornucopias.
They enjoy the most valuable death, they're crumbling en masse
under tones of products.
No one ever witnessed people more satisfied in the world.
No fridges no sofas no computers got better owners.
Luxurious reefs
Big juicy fruits
Material bliss
Cornucopias
So full of love
Goods profusion
Prosperous people
Tones of products
They die crumbling en masse
Enjoy valuable death
Take handful of old flesh
Under tones of products

That's Not All Folks !
04:07
|
|
||
The sun is pale and the fog stagnates among the fields and only gusts can make it steer and the roads are slippery.
We warm ourselves, gathered by the fireplace, the work is in progress – each day brings a brick at this welcoming house.
And we meet family again, we're invited and we invite and we meet at a deceased's wake and we see the children get up at dawn.
The stillness of winter make clear the roving of time and storrytelling nights stream changes of minds.
We can claim there's always newness to come, there's always newness to come.
We can say, we can say that's not all folks, we can say that's not all folks.

Tide
04:45
|
|
||
Every cockle and shell,
Every little mussel has to travel.
They long to reach the soil,
to feel the touch of grains of sand and lie.
Seals feel young and slim,
Prawns turn into mermaids they meet and smile.
They see the beauty of the scenery,
they live in a quite harmony.
Every cockle and shell;
Every little mussel has to travel.
The mermaid has another beach to reach
other fishes to meet, another place to be.
The seal can hardly move,
The mermaid swims fast away she goes.
This is the cycle of the sea,
whose tide never sleeps, plays hide and seek.

The excitement of the stage,
The light that sheds its rays,
The nice words you say
Are not more true but as false as mine, in this way you share my case.
We seek hoorays,
You have more than i'll ever get,
We hear your praise
And me I take the smiles I'm given and at least I've got a music to play.
And I hope you know better than I do,
That you can justify the kindness law has for you.
And maybe I never refuse a drink
And notes are my money,
And maybe you'll find that the rape you committed was made public.
You reached the top
And never fear any slope
But don't list my faults, 'cause I could as well give you my jiggling hat 'cause you're not without reproach.
And I hope you know better than I do,
That you can justify the kindness law has for you.
